I was born on December, 1971, near Grenoble (France). Soon, my parents went to Nice, where I lived for 20 years.
There, I have made classical music studies in music academy (Conservatoire de Nice) and after that, I’ve learned a bit jazz music in a jazz school. But, more than music, I was interested in the sound itself. Very young, I listened experimental Pink Floyd albums, Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze, Steve Roach, Kitaro, Isao Tomita, Yello, Brian Eno and many more… Electronic sounds had my preference, and it’s still the same today.
So, concurrently of my studies (Political Sciences), I have listened a lot and opened my sound universe to many artists and musics. As soon as possible, I have bought a synthesizer, then another … and now, I’m equiped with a complete Home studio, just to be able to make my own music and to create my own sounds. And concurrently of my job, I made music (on evenings, nights, week-ends, and holidays).
Since December 2007, I’ve decided to devote my professional life to music and sound. My passion was stronger and I was disgusted by my job. So, I’ve decided to start audio engineer studies, to perfect my knowledge in sounds treatments, recording methods and post-synchronisation..
I’m still living in France, both on the frontier with Switzerland, near Geneva, and in a little village in Corsica, west coast. I make my music at home, for my personnal albums projects and often for a friend who have an audio-visual firm, making musics when he asks it to me for firms publicities, and actually for a television series project (www.studio-lunenoire.com).
I have many influences in music. Actually, I’m most listening artists like Lusine, Apparat, FSOL, Nils Petter Molvaer, Pink Freud, Audio Lotion, Lemongrass, Lunik, ... I’m also listening a lot of jazz music. Anyway, to listen to the others and to open my mind to each kind of sounds is a « credo ».
I create my music always begining with a sound, a rythm, or a loop… I’m looking for an atmosphere before the melody. Sound gives the direction that will take the track. That’s why I love electronic music, because of the infinite possibilities of sounds you can make or find. I think my music is quiet, floating… never hard. When I compose, it’s like a travel for me between my emotions, my memories (good or not), my dreams… and I hope my music is listened and discerned like this…
On september 6th, 2008, Beatism Inc. Chicago Label has released my first personal album « ECHOS », actualy available on Beatport, and on CD soon. Few others tracks have also been signed with independant Labels to be included on various mp3 compilations (Ingo Herrmann, DeepClass records).
Thanks to Lemongrassmusic, I also had the chance to participate on a number of compilations (Buddha Grooves 4-6, Café Oriental 7, Absinth 3, Lounge du Soleil 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, Lemongrass Garden 3,4 & 5 and many others) released between August 2008 and 2011. I have also participated in further projects for his label ; the most exciting is certainly the « Beach Hoppers » project with Roland and Daniel Voss, and the beautiful voice of Jana Tarasenko.
My second solo album under the project name ESKADET, titled "Solitudes" was released on Lemongrassmusic in August 2010.
In 2011 I released a nice collaboration EP with Rome-based producer TAFUBAR under the simple title "TAFUBAR + ESKADET" In 2012 my new EP "Introspection" was released in MP3 format, exploring the worlds of Chillout, Deep House and Chill House.
