Mark Oakland is one of many sides of Nuno Santos, a Portuguese artist who divides his life between civil engineering and expressing his many personalities and emotions throughout the music.
As his soul has many flavors and personalities Mark Oakland was a necessary birth with the kind of soulful naivety that is extinguished in our cynical times.
He then started DJing and music became a big passion in his life. He graduated on music production to expand the creativity with all his heart.
The influences are very eclectic from jazz, funk, soul and rock to chill-out or house.
Now at the age of 29 he is a civil engineer during the day and a music producer at night, at times accompanied by his friends, embraced in a project called “Mark & Stevens”, with releases on vinyl and in digital formats for Flapjack Records (Chicago US), Bulletdodge Records (UK), Wittytunes (US) and of course Lemongrassmusic .
